What are the rates for using Bolster to accept payments?

  • ACH: 1.0% per transaction, at a minimum of $2.00 and capped at a maximum of $15.00

  • Debit & Credit Cards: between 2.99% and 3.99% depending on card type and network

  • Specialty (AMEX/Discover): 3.95% per transaction

Are there any additional fees or contracts to access the payments solution with Bolster?

There are no additional fees or contracts to use the integrated payment processing solution, other than the fee structure listed above. Once you have submitted the required information for our team to review, Bolster Business Accounts and Bolster Payments are included with part of your subscription to the platform, no matter what tier you are subscribed to.

How quickly can I get paid?

Without a business account, you will receive your funds within 2 business days with no additional fee. You can choose from our faster settlement options for an additional fee: one business day at a 0.5% fee, or next business day at a 1.0% fee based on the invoice total.

With a Bolster Business Account, you receive the funds instantly.

Can I pass on transaction fees for my customers to pay?

You will have the option to pass along any transaction fees to your customer or build in the transaction fee into your project costs, whenever you request a payment or send invoices.

Is it secure?

Bolster is partnered with Adyen NV to offer payments solutions. Adyen NV is a global Payments Service Provider (PSP). Since March 2021, Adyen NV’s US payment service has operated under Adyen NV’s US bank charter that is federally insured (FDIC). Adyen NV Bank is a registered agent with the Card Networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) operating under each Card Network’s rules and regulations as a Bank Sponsor.
