In one case, he priced a $200,000 cabinet package himself—and was only $500 off from the subcontractor’s quote.

“It was a lot to get the budget to where it is. But now we’re ready for the next step.”

His advice to other builders?

“Just dive in. It’s a learning curve—but if you’re willing to put in the time, it’ll pay off.”
