Overview
You can add project-specific documents, such as site photos, floor plans, and presentation files, directly within a project. Depending on the type of file, you can choose to make it visible to your customer in their portal, or keep it shared internally with your team only.
Before You Begin
- Have the project open that you want to add documents to.
- While in your project, go to the left-hand sidebar.
- In the left-hand sidebar, below the Pre-production and Production sections, click Documents.
- Click to add documents or photos as needed within this project. These can include site photos, floor plans, and presentation files.
- If you want a file visible to the customer in their portal, add it as a Presentation File.
- If you want a file shared only within your team, add it as a Shared File.
You can add as many files as you want and use this section in whatever way works best for your project.
Tips & Best Practices
- Use Clear File Names: Name files clearly so team members and customers can quickly identify their content and purpose.
- Choose the Right Visibility: Use Presentation Files for anything the customer should see in their portal, and Shared Files for internal team documents.
Why This Matters
- Keeps all project-specific documents, like site photos, floor plans, and presentation files, organized in one place within the project.
- Lets you control whether a file is visible to the customer or kept internal to your team.
Summary
You can add project documents, such as site photos, floor plans, and presentation files, from the Documents section in the project sidebar, and choose whether each file is visible to the customer as a Presentation File or kept internal as a Shared File.
