Overview
Labour options let you dial in your pricing further than the generic price per unit of measure of a line item.
Before You Begin
- Have the line item you want to price open in your estimate.
- In your Estimate, click the cube icon to open the tools panel.
- Click into Unit Pricing.
- Click + Labour Options.
- Choose a different labor rate -- select an existing craftsman labor rate, or create your own.
- Change the crew assigned to the item.
- Change the time it takes to complete one unit of measure of the item.
- Add a base labor cost and/or a minimum labor cost if needed.
Why This Matters
- Lets you dial in labor pricing on an item beyond the default rate and time, using your own labor rates, crew size, and base or minimum cost.
Summary
Labour Options, found under Unit Pricing on the cube icon, let you choose or create a labor rate, set crew size and time per unit, and add a base or minimum labor cost for a line item
