Overview
You can manually approve a project instead of having your client approve it electronically. A manual approval bypasses the electronic approval of the quote, including the electronic signature, and moves the project to your booked jobs.
Before You Begin
- When you approve a project manually, there is no electronic signature, so you are taking any legal responsibility into your own hands.
- Manual approval is useful when you have a handshake or verbal deal, or when your client does not have a computer to approve the proposal.
Manually Approve a Project
- In the left-hand menu, click Jobs.
- Click Pipeline.
- In the Pending jobs column, hover over the project.
- On the right-hand side of the project, click Mark as booked.
- Click OK. The project is approved and moves automatically to the Booked jobs column.
Why This Matters
- You can book projects that were agreed on with a handshake or verbally.
- Clients who can't approve electronically can still have their project booked.
Summary
To manually approve a project, go to Jobs > Pipeline, hover over the project in the Pending jobs column, click Mark as booked, then click OK. The project moves to Booked jobs. Manual approval bypasses the electronic signature, so use it only when you are comfortable taking on that responsibility.
